‘ĀLIM PROGRAM
Currently, we only offer the part-time ‘Alim Program, which begins with the Pre – ‘Aalim Summer Intensive. We need your help to initiate the full-time alim program. If you are interested in this program, please fill out our survey by clicking here. Based on demand and resources, we will be able to begin, inshaaAllah.
Outline of Projected Full – Time ‘Alim Program
The Aalim course is a comprehensive study of the Islamic Sciences, the breadth of which includes expertise in: Arabic grammar, Tajweed, Literature, Tafseer Al-Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic Law (Fiqh), and Islamic History.
We plan to offer courses in a traditional environment with students spending approximately six hours per day receiving direct instruction from certified scholars. The coursework will prepare students to become upright citizens with the aptitude to become Imams, school teachers, administrators of Islamic Institutions, academic researchers and writers, inshaaAllah. Upon graduation, students may also choose to pursue specialized studies in Fiqh to become Mufti, Hadith to become Muhadith, Tafseer to become Mufassir, and/or other sciences.
InshaaAllah, we plan to begin by offering the first two years of the full – time ‘alim program in the near future. If there is enough demand and availability of resources, we plan to add more years, inshaaAllah.
