Do you apply corporal punishment to students

Nope. At CJIIS, no staff members are allowed to inflict corporal punishment upon any student.

What if a student threatens the safety of others

We hope it never happens, but in case any student’s behavior threatens the safety of others, staff members are permitted to use such amount of force as is necessary and reasonable.

This may also apply to any situation a staff member deems as posting a risk to the safety of any student (even the child in question), individual, or their property.

The deeming of a situation as dangerous is solely up to the interpretation of the staff members.
